Shock Therapy Title Image

Welcome to Shock Therapy

Welcome to Shock Therapy, which has gone through so many iterations through the years that we don't really know what it is anymore. Shock Therapy is the brain-child of Daniel Robson, with a little bit of help from Matthew Hurley, and as such acts as a portfolio of work.

All of the content on the site itself is accessible through the menu bar at the top. Futile Wanderings is the Internet's first Massively Multiplayer Choose Your Own Adventure story creator (MMCYOA, maybe). Hopefully this will soon be released as a freely distributable script you can install on any website. The Idiot Toons, which you can see an example of on the right, are some strange sort of one panel web comic that Matt draws, which updates roughly every fortnight.

In order to attract some vague amount of traffic, we hand out a fair amount of free stuff here. If you're interested in freeware games and applications for Symbian UIQ 2.1 phones, head on over to the Symbian Section. If you're more interested in maps for various games or even freeware created by our very own development team (kind of), just take a look in the Maps, Games and Apps section.

Articles, Rants and Reviews is the general catch-all section of the site. Here you can find the Halfwit Game Reviews, along with a few random article Daniel has written over the years. Finally there's the little bar you may have noticed at the bottom of the page, which gives links to other projects Daniel has undertaken over the years, both at the behest of other people and out of sheer boredom.

Hopefully you can find yourselves something mildly interesting. And if you don't know where to start, why not try searching the site using the box below, or starting off with one of these three random pages:

Real Student Food - Grub on a Grant Promotion

Game AI's Catch-22

Advanced Hotlink Protection
